An on-going challenge for Sigma Zeta chapters is competition with other on-campus organizations. At times this includes other honor math or science societies. It is recommended that you seek ways to cooperate rather than complete. Some activities can be jointly sponsored. You can encourage membership in both organizations and find ways to mutually support each other. This will work most effectively if faculty members are willing to have some involvement in both organizations.
