2006 Sigma Zeta National Convention
Dr Mike Henshaw, Beta Chapter, McKendree College was elected as President Elect at the 2006 National Convention held at McKendree College March 30 - April 1. The convention was a great opportunity for chapters from all over the U.S. to meet together and share ideas. The convention consisted of student research presentations, field trips, and organization business meetings. The other reappointed National officers are: Harold Wilkinson (Executive Director), Bernadine Cochran (President), Joe Burnell (Past President), Cary Guffey (Historian and Publicist), (President), David Hahn (Treasurer). Bob Kister (Webmaster). Convention highlights were 13 student research presentations by Sigma Zeta members from among the nine chapters attending, field trips to the St. Louis Arch, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and St. Louis Zoo, and a fascinating talk at the conclusion of the Friday evening Banquet by Dr. Joseph Coelho, Assistant Professor of Biology at Quincy University, who shared his work on insects in modern culture in his talk on "Sex, Bugs, and Rock 'n' Roll".

Welcome to Alpena Community College as a new chapter of Sigma Zeta

Welcome to Beta Rho as the newest chapter of Sigma Zeta
Beta Rho was formally constituted as the newest chapter of Sigma Zeta at a ceremony directed by Executive Director Dr. Harold Wilkinson on March 4, 2005 at Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. The charter officers elected for the new chapter are Dona Turek (President), Dakota Trufant (Vice President), Marcie Brown (Secretary), and Amy Taylor (Treasurer). (March 4, 2005)
